Starting Wire Obstacles For WWII
Doing the research now, looking up how the various countries laid their wire, then making them from GF9 plastic sheets as bases and stuff from Michael's for the posts and wires. Less than $20 invested and I should get around 20' total feet out of it.

Here's the foundation. GF9 plastic base, wooden dowels from the craft store and hot glue:
